Our Quality and Service are as Solid as our Products

Jordan Marble and Granite has been serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming since 1997. It is a family business, locally-owned and operated by Jimmy and Tina Jordan.

Jimmy, who has 21 years of experience in the stone industry, personally trains all of his fabricators in stonecutting, edging, polishing and routering. His knowledge of fabrication, keen eye for detail, and personal oversight of every job ensure that every project meets Jordan Marble & Granite’s highest standards. He and his artisans bring a combined experience of more than fifty years to their work.

The Jordan’s take great pride in the long-lasting relationships they’ve built with customers, stone suppliers and other vendors. Their large number of repeat customers and word-of-mouth referrals are a testament to their commitment to superb quality, craftsmanship, and an unparalleled level of customer service.

The Fabrication Process Start to Finish

Ordering

The art of stone fabrication takes time. In order to have your project ready when you’re ready to install it, we encourage you to contact us at the beginning of the remodeling process. In a kitchen remodel, for example, we recommend that our customers order countertops at the same time they order cabinets.

Pricing

You can either submit your drawings with measurements you have taken, those that have come from the cabinet designer, architect or interior designer, or we will take measurements free of charge. We create a cost estimate based on those measurements.

Material Selection

We use all natural stone slabs including granite, marble, travertine, limestone, soapstone, sandstone and onyx, as well as many quartz (synthetic) products such as Silestone, Pental, Cambria, Caesarstone, One Quartz, LG Viatera, Radianz, DuPont Zodiak, Hanstone and Okite Quartz.
You will select your stone from one of our many natural stone suppliers. If you choose to use a quartz product you will make your selection from our in-store samples. Once chosen, your material will be put on hold for you under your name, listing Jordan Marble & Granite as the fabricator.

Contract & Deposit

We will revise pricing based on your material selection. If the pricing is acceptable we will then contract the project based on the scope of work. At the time we draw up the contract we request a 50 percent deposit along with your signed contract. Upon receiving your 50 percent deposit we will place your project on the schedule and have your material delivered to our fabrication shop.

Template

When your project comes up on our schedule our project manager will schedule an appointment with you to go to the job site to make a template. A template is an exact pattern of your cabinets which we use to fabricate your new countertops. Depending on the size of the project this can take from one to a few hours. Please make sure all surfaces are clear. The project manager will also discuss the following with you:

  • Edge detail and overhang
  • Seam placement
  • Sink and fixture locations (the undermount-sink or sink template needs to be available at time of template)
  • Cook top cut-out
  • Installation date may be discussed to allow scheduling of other subcontractors
  • Plumber will need to be scheduled no earlier than 24 hours after installation (we are not licensed plumbers and are therefore unable to install plumbing fixtures)
Fabrication

After the delivery of material and the template we begin the fabrication process. This process includes; cutting your slabs using the templates, shaping the edges, polishing the edges and cutting the sink holes.

Installation

From the template date to delivery of your finished countertops generally takes about two weeks (dependent on size and scope of project). In preparation for installation please clear out the sink cabinet and any objects that might obstruct the work area. Please also clear out any cabinets that could be exposed to dust from installation. We minimize dust as much as possible but it can still travel throughout the house so please keep this in mind. We will seal all natural stone products before leaving your home.

Completion

Upon the completion of the installation our installers will review the project with you and answer any questions you may have. Your complete satisfaction is our number one priority.
